Be precise about the geography, because many websites are not: Pamushana stands in the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, a separate private reserve of roughly 115,000 acres bordering Gonarezhou, not inside the national park. If money is no object it is the grandest base in the region, with spa, boat cruises and rock-art excursions on the private reserve.

What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Gonarezhou National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside. Here is what that adds up to.

Rates are the Gonarezhou Conservation Trust's own published figures and operators' rate cards, gathered July 2026, quoted Local / SADC / International where the Trust publishes all three tiers. Accommodation rates generally exclude the daily conservation fee; confirm the total with the Trust when you book. Two names you may still find elsewhere, Mahenye Lodge and Senuko, could not be verified as currently operating: their websites no longer resolve and neither appears on any current operator list.

Is Singita Pamushana good for families?
Yes. Singita says children of all ages are welcome at Pamushana, with infants under two staying free and children aged 2 to 16 charged at half the adult rate when sharing a suite. Game drives and bush walks are allowed at a guide's discretion, though bush walks have a minimum age of sixteen. A Mini Rangers course and childminding are offered.
Is Singita Pamushana good for a honeymoon?
The setting fits: all eight suites sit cliff-top above Malilangwe Dam with their own plunge pool, and Singita can arrange a private day excursion into neighbouring Gonarezhou. It is also the most expensive base covered here: Singita's own site lists suites from $2,395 per adult a night off-peak and $3,150 in peak season for 2026 and 2027.
How do you get to Singita Pamushana?
Federal Air flies scheduled flights between Johannesburg and Buffalo Range twice a week, about 1 hour 45 minutes, with a minimum of three nights and two guests required to book that option; Singita staff then transfer you by road, 45 minutes to the lodge. Private charters can land at Lonestar airstrip, 12 minutes away. Self-drive from Harare takes about 6 hours.
What does the rate at Singita Pamushana include?
Singita lists an inclusive rate covering all meals and drinks including premium wines and spirits, twice-daily game drives, walking safaris, boat cruises, fishing, rock-art excursions, tennis, road transfers from Buffalo Range, laundry and wifi where available. Singita's own site lists per-suite rates by season, from $2,395 per adult a night off-peak to $3,150 in peak season; boutique purchases and wellness treatments cost extra.
Is Singita Pamushana inside Gonarezhou National Park?
No. It stands in the separate, roughly 115,000-acre Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve bordering the park, not inside Gonarezhou itself. Singita can arrange day excursions into the national park from the lodge, but the suites, drives and activities are all on the private reserve.
