Seven undeveloped sites in the areas the Trust itself calls the most sought-after in the park, each booked by a single group. The Trust publishes tier prices but not individual site names, so discuss locations with reservations@gonarezhou.org when you book.

What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Gonarezhou National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside. Here is what that adds up to.

What the rate covers is not confirmed. We do not know yet whether meals, drinks and activities are included, so read this as the bed only.

Rates are the Gonarezhou Conservation Trust's own published figures and operators' rate cards, gathered July 2026, quoted Local / SADC / International where the Trust publishes all three tiers. Accommodation rates generally exclude the daily conservation fee; confirm the total with the Trust when you book. Two names you may still find elsewhere, Mahenye Lodge and Senuko, could not be verified as currently operating: their websites no longer resolve and neither appears on any current operator list.

Are the exclusive campsites good for families?
We found no published minimum age, and these are undeveloped sites: a bush loo and a single firepit, with no water or power laid on. The minimum is six adults per site, so they suit a larger family group with older children rather than young ones, if self-sufficient camping.
What do the exclusive campsites include?
Just a bush longdrop toilet and one firepit; everything else, including drinking water, food and shade, is yours to bring. A camp attendant can be arranged in advance, unlike the Trust's wilderness campsites, which have no staff at all.
How much do the exclusive campsites cost?
Rates run $95 Local, $120 SADC and $180 International per site per night, a minimum charge that covers six adults. The Trust publishes these tier prices but not the names or exact locations of the seven sites, so discuss options with reservations@gonarezhou.org when you book.
When are the exclusive campsites open?
The Trust says these remote sites close from late November to March or April; confirm exact dates when you book since no fixed date is published. The wider park also closes to visitors from 10 January to 1 March.
